Code Party at Vancouver Mini Maker Faire, June 6 + 7, 2015

Code Party!
This is an invitation to all of the lovely programmers or aspiring programmers out there to do some live coding at a coding party this Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7, 2:30pm to 3:30pm (Pacific Time).

Virtually or In Person at Vancouver Mini Maker Faire.
You can do this by going to permanentdeviation.com or by visiting VIVO’s booth at the Vancouver Mini Maker Faire (bring your laptop if you feel really inspired). It only lasts an hour so don’t be late.

What is Permanent Deviation?
Permanent Deviation (http://permanentdeviation.com) is an online Processing compiler and simultaneous participatory exhibition space where anyone can take turns and use the last person’s code to make something new.

What if I can’t code?
If you can’t code then you can just watch coding being done, live. However, it’s pretty easy to change a few numbers here and there to start learning. Try not to be shy or come back to the site at another time when it’s less crowded.

What is Vancouver Mini Maker Faire?
“…is the Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth—a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the Maker movement. It’s a place where people show what they are making, and share what they are learning.”
