Arts Digital Product Design

Product design is the process of creating a digital product or tools. These include apps, platform and third party integrations. For art and nonprofit organizations these digital tools assist with making, promoting, advocating, educating, etc. They enhance the organization’s mission and build capacity. This type of design specifically brings the user experience together with the stakeholder’s business goals.

Product design does the following:

• Develop and integrate business goals into design and product decisions
• Participate in the entire design process to ensure continuity
• Analyzes complex data to synthesize designs that satisfy business goals and user needs

For the last 10 years the Canada Council for the Arts has supported projects that require product design. desiring productions can assist art and non-profit organizations who are not familiar with complex processes involved in the creation of apps, platform and third party integrations.
